Gaining fame in the age of social media has never been easier. It’s easy to state that in the twenty-first century, every boy and girl desires to become a famous overnight without having completed their schooling. Perhaps this is why our country, Pakistan, has fallen behind many other countries in terms of economic development and is now experiencing joblessness.
A video of a girl taking ‘Pagal Tissue Lelo Yaar’ went viral on social media just a few days ago. By viewing this girl’s film, one can get a sense of the path that the world’s young people are taking. On the other hand, after watching the movie, some people began to argue that social media should be outlawed worldwide because it is harming children. Our governments, on the other hand, do not appear to be serious about this.
We feel that social media should be introduced in Asian countries in the same way that it is in China. Because developed countries are the ones who place a higher value on education than keeping their youngsters entertained on social media. And unless our countries, Pakistan and India, implement legislation soon, children would lose respect for their elders. What are your opinions on the matter?
