Who Was Prabhakar Sail and What Caused His Death? Aryan Khan Drug Case

On Friday, April 1, 2022, Prabhakar Sail, the panch witness for the Narcotics Control Bureau in the Cordelia cruise drug case, died. According to his lawyer Tushar Khandare, he died of a heart attack at his home in Chembur’s Mahul neighbourhood. At the time of his untimely death, Sail was only 36 years old. According to Sail, Gosavi mentioned a demand of Rs 25 crore, which included Rs 8 crore for Sameer Wankhede. For the uninitiated, KP Gosavi was a witness in the case, and Prabhakar was his bodyguard. In the aftermath of the revelations he made in his application, the city police provided Prabhakar Sail with protection after he became an independent witness in the case.

At the time, the central agency had charged the superstar’s son with consumption, possession, sale/purchase of banned drugs, conspiracy, and abutment under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.

On October 28, the Bombay High Court granted him bail after he had been detained for nearly a month. The actor and the other accused, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant, were reportedly given nearly 14 bail conditions by the High Court. HC also granted bail to the pair. The High Court stated in the five-page order that all three defendants must surrender their passports before the NDPS court.

The trio must surrender their passports to the NDPS court, they must not leave India without permission from the special court, and they must go to the NCB office every Friday between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to register their presence, according to the five-page decision.
