On Friday, April 1, 2022, Prabhakar Sail, the panch witness for the Narcotics Control Bureau in the Cordelia cruise drug case, died. According to his lawyer Tushar Khandare, he died of a heart attack at his home in Chembur’s Mahul neighbourhood. At the time of his untimely death, Sail was only 36 years old.
