Saudi Arabian author Ritaj Hussain Alhazmi became the world’s youngest woman to ever publish a book series when she was 12 years and 295 days old. Her title was confirmed by the Guinness Book of World Records.

In 2019, Ritaj Hussain Alhazmi released her debut book, Treasure of the Lost Sea, officially establishing her as an author. She also released the book’s follow-up, Portal of the Hidden World, in the same year. After that, in 2020, she released Beyond the Future World, the third book in the series. The Passage to the Unknown, the fourth book in the series, is currently being written by the author.

According to reports, the youngest author to release a book series, Ritaj Hussain Alhazmi, said, “I write for my fellow children community. I chose to write a few of my own novels after realising there aren’t many for this age group. At the age of 12, she published her book series as a result, making history as the youngest author to do so.

The author, who is now 13 years old, began her journey when she was only six years old and travelling with her family to study abroad. Ritaj Hussain Alhazmi stated that she wanted to fill a void for young readers when she wrote her English-language novel.

She published her first book, Treasure of the Lost Sea, in the year 2019. The audience’s reaction to the book was fantastic.
