Reena Rai is Deep Sidhu’s girlfriend, but who is she?
Reena Rai is a Hollywood actress who lives in the United States, Miss South Asia 14, according to sources. She also starred alongside Deep in the Punjabi film ‘Rang Panjab.’ According to Reena’s Instagram bio, she won Miss South Asia 2014 and her forthcoming film, ‘Desi,’ also stars Deep Sidhu.
Deep Sidhu professed his love for Reena on his own Instagram account just a year ago. Deep captioned a photo with Reena,
“You stood by when the whole world was against, protected me, held my respect, gave me strength, prayed for my cause and freedom but what truly has touched my heart and soul when you paused your life for me, you being there means a lot for me, your love and support is beyond any description, you are beyond my words and I truly feel blessed to have a soul like you in my life, I just wanna say I love you (sic).”

Deep Sidhu, a Punjabi actor turned activist, died in a horrific traffic accident on Tuesday. During the terrible accident, he was reportedly accompanied by his girlfriend Reena Rai. When the incident occurred at Pipli toll plaza in Kharkhoda, the 37-year-old actor was claimed to be travelling from Delhi to Punjab. On the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal highway in Haryana’s Sonipat region, Deep’s automobile collided with a truck. Sidhu suffered critical brain injuries in the crash, according to the police.
“A female friend accompanying him was taken to a hospital where her condition was stable,” the police told the news agency.
Pictures of Deep and his girlfriend Reena Rai went popular on social media shortly after the news of his death broke. Reena had posted a photo with Deep the day before he died, as they celebrated Valentine’s Day together. Her Instagram account had been used to disseminate the post.
