He is a barristor by profession. He received his early education from Aitchison College and later was a pupil at Wellington College. He graduated with a bachelors degree in Development Economics from the SOAS, University of London and completed his postgraduate diploma in law from the BPP Law School. He enrolled for the Bar Vocational Course in 2004 and was formally called to the Bar at The Honorable Society of Lincolns Inn in 2005.
