The musician made it plain that he was not going to allow Karachi traffic keep him from playing, so he grabbed a taxi to his show.

A few days previously, Atif Aslam made headlines when he cancelled his live concert in Islamabad in the middle of it to protect families from harassment.
According to one eyewitness, the audience threw bottles at Atif, forcing him to leave the stage halfway through his performance.
According to other stories, males in the audience were harassing women. Many people resorted to social media to criticise the administration for the lack of security.
Furthermore, a viral screenshot of the artist reacting to a fan following the uproar in Islamabad had spread online.
In the aforementioned Instagram conversation, a user apologised to the artist, writing, “Sir, extremely sorry for today.” There are a few bad apples who destroy it for everyone.”
