On Saturday, five people were killed in a road accident in Canada when the passenger van in which they were travelling collided with a tractor-trailer on an Ontario highway. The five victims were later revealed to be Indian students. The accident was extremely serious and resulted in the deaths of five innocent people.

The Indian deputies expressed their condolences to the victims’ families via Twitter. They also stated that the Indian embassy in Toronto is assisting the victims’ friends in any way possible. Mr. Bisaria also used his official Twitter account to announce the accident and express his sorrow over the deaths of five Indian students. “Heartbreaking tragedy in Canada: 5 Indian students died in a car accident near Toronto on Saturday,” he tweeted. The students killed in the road accident in Canada were Jaspinder Singh, Harpreet Singh, Mohit Chouhan, Pawan Kumar, and Karanpal Singh, according to the Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
