Variety of return filers jumps 55laptop
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Income on Thursday introduced that 55 per cent extra revenue tax returns have been acquired for the tax 12 months 2018 in comparison with a 12 months in the past.
An official assertion stated the board acquired 482,275 revenue tax returns for the tax 12 months 2018 till Oct 10, a rise of 170,208 returns from 312,067 returns acquired until the identical date within the earlier tax 12 months.
The FBR has already prolonged the final date for the submitting of revenue tax returns till Nov 30.
In the meantime, a delegation of the office-bearers and members of the Pakistan Tax Bar Affiliation met with Minister of State for Income Hammad Azhar on the FBR Home. The affiliation assured full help to the FBRs efforts for enhancing income assortment and selling tax compliance tradition.
The minister stated the federal government was absolutely dedicated to broadening the tax base and introducing equitable taxation whereby all those that had taxable incomes or companies would come up and contribute their due share of taxes in direction of the income era and useful resource mobilisation efforts of the federal government.
