The royal expert Daniela Elser wrote for news.com.au that the Duke and Duchess of Susse**x’s monthly bill for February alone was $1.2 million.
“Their spending for the month of February alone could exceed $1.2 million,” she wrote, “an eye-watering sum even for two people whose preferred mode of transportation appears to be a private aircraft.”
The remarks follow the couple’s receipt of a $188,952 “council tax” bill.
Legal and security fees are also included in the exorbitant prices, according to further estimates.
“Although these are stirring remarks from a legal superstar, a top London silk can charge more than $1300 per hour. That’s on top of whatever the application has cost the Susse**xes in legal fees since the case was filed in September of last year.”
In addition, it is reported that the Susse**xes spend $4.5 million per year to maintain their opulent lifestyle.
“They estimated that the couple’s security would cost more than $4.5 million each year. This, coupled with other costs like their mortgage, is anticipated to cost them slightly over $6 million per year.
“If you round that down to a monthly figure, you’re looking at at least $500,000.”
“If Harry loses his court case over his bodyguards and is forced to pay the Home Office’s charges, their February home bills may be more than $1.2 million.”
