Sheikhupura, a female student was kidnapped and gang-raped.

Three individuals have been detained in connection with the kidnapping and gang rape of an eighth-grade female student in Sheikhupura, Punjab.

According to authorities, the event occurred on February 19 in the vicinity of City B Division Police Station. Shortly after filing the complaint, police rescued the child and transported her for a medical checkup.

Within 24 hours after the occurrence, the three suspects were apprehended by police. The IG Punjab Police has stated that monetary prizes and certificates of recognition would be given to SHO Police Station City B Division and police staff for the quick apprehension of the culprit.

Furthermore, Sheikhupura District Police Officer Faisal Mukhtar has been ordered to personally monitor the case and utilise all available means and attempts to bring the offenders to justice.

In October of last year, a seventh-grade student was gang-raped in Chakwal’s Choasaiden Shah neighbourhood. According to police, the student was raped by a rickshaw driver and an accomplice.
