Russian MI-8 helicopter dodges a Ukrainian anti-air missile video goes viral

More Footage from Russia’s declared war on Ukraine shows a number of Russian MI-8 transport helicopters firing lights after one of them was nearly hit by a Ukrainian anti-air missile.

The clip shows that the chopper narrowly avoided the missile, which was most likely fired from a MANPADS.

The helicopters were based in Vyshgorod, which is barely 20 kilometres from Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital.

Given that these helicopters were transporting ground forces, we can fairly conclude that Russian troops will be operating in and around Kyiv in the near future.

Stay tuned for more as we continue to bring you updates on the situation!
