Reham Khan received defamation notice from Murad Saeed.

Reham Khan, the former wife of Prime Minister Imran Khan, has been warned by Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed to give an explanation within 14 days and seek an unconditional apology for what she published about the former in her book, or face a defamation suit worth Rs1 billion.

The Minister has issued a legal notice to Reham Khan for publishing defamatory information about him, claiming that his ministry was awarded the best performing ministry award exclusively on merit, but that the case was tainted by your book’s content.

Saeed went on to say that the book’s reference was exploited for negative propaganda against him, and that you have yet to refute the substance of the book that has been attributed to you.

“Give an explanation within 14 days and seek an unequivocal apologies,” the legal notification stated, “otherwise a defamation litigation of Rs1 billion will be brought against you.”

On February 10, Prime Minister Imran Khan presented certificates to his best-performing ministries, with Murad Saeed, the Minister for Communication and Postal Services, continuing at the top.
