Makeup artist Omayr Waqar, who was previously served with a legal notice by actress Sana Javed for online defamation of her reputation, has responded appropriately.
The move came after several Dunk actresses claimed on social media that working with her was a “horrible” experience. Javed allegedly misbehaved with them on set or while getting her makeup done, according to the majority of them.
Javed responded by filing a formal complaint with the FIA. Their social media posts, she claimed, were about her and part of a “proper smear campaign” against her.
Following actor Sana Javed’s issuance of a defamation notice, makeup artist Omayr Waqar has issued a counter legal notice to him. On his Instagram account, he shared photos of the notice.
It all started when a model named Manal Saleem posted on her Instagram account about a bad working experience she had with Javed. “Requesting all the clients not to ask me to shoot with any actress/celebrity ever again,” Saleem had originally written. They think we’re ‘do takay ki [two bit] models’ because of our arrogant attitudes. On my face, you have the audacity to say that! We’ve come to work, not to be insulted for no reason.” Her Instagram storey has since expired, but it can still be found in her highlights section.
Since then, more allegations of bad behaviour have surfaced. Wajid Khan, a well-known makeup artist, recently claimed that Javed had him replaced from a filming campaign. The actress, in his opinion, should concentrate on her acting rather than playing games with others.
