An employee of the Belagavi horticulture department filed a complaint with the neighborhood AMPC police station alleging that Channapatna-based social activist Navyashree Rao has been accused of extortion, intimi*dation, and making life-threatening threats.

Rajkumar claims that he first met Navyashree in December 2020 while working in Bengaluru as Shrimant Patil’s personal assistant in Kagawa. She identified herself as an activist and the founder of the nonprofit organization, the Navya Foundation.
He eventually warmed up to Jayashree. He claimed Jayashree was aware of his marital status and the fact that he was the father of three children. He was accused of ra*pe after they threatened to send videos of their priva*te interactions to his wife and other family members and after they showed him recordings of their priva*te conversations.
In response to questions regarding the allegations, Navyashree stated, “I wasn’t in India for the last two weeks. I became more aware of how well-liked our videos were on social media. I’m formally complaining to the city police chief. Navyashree claims that she was unaware of the complaint. I haven’t yet received any calls from the police, the woman said.
