Jahangir Khan Tareen – Shahbaz Sharif meeting

The PTI administration, under by Prime Minister Imran Khan, is in its fourth year. During this time, the federal government has seen numerous ups and downs, including a variety of problems such as the PDM, the long march, and the no-confidence motion.

In the past, PM Imran Khan’s right-hand man (described by the opposition as a specialist in ATMs and manoeuvring) and current furious leader Jahangir Khan Tareen held covert talks with PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif.

Previously, the PML-N purportedly sought the participation of the Chaudhry brothers of the PML-Q in a no-confidence motion against the prime minister, and later Jahangir Khan Tareen, a key leader of the Like-minded group, was asked to do the same. Consider if the government will be able to finish in 5 years.

Shehbaz Sharif and Jahangir Tareen had a private meeting.

According to Pakistani media, the meeting between Jahangir Tareen and Shahbaz Sharif lasted hours, but the enraged PTI leader refused to admit the meeting, claiming that the members of the parliament gave me a mandate for political choices and that contacts are part of politics.

Tareen told the media that everyone in the country is concerned about the country’s economic predicament and inflation. We believe that the group cannot ignore public concerns and issues. It should be emphasised that the Jahangir Tareen organisation includes over 30 members.

Secret negotiations for the motion of no confidence

According to some observers, opposition groups, including the PDM, aim to keep their meetings and other activities secret so that only a few politicians are aware of them. The opposition appears to be on a covert mission.

It is uncertain what he will do after quitting the job at this time. The government has finished a 3.6-year term and is attempting to spend the remaining year and a half in some fashion.

Position of the PPP and the Q-League

Former President Asif Ali Zardari was approached by Maulana Fazlur Rehman seven days ago and various subjects, including the no-confidence motion, were addressed. Asif Ali Zardari, co-chairman of the PPP, pledged support for a no-confidence move against the prime minister.

Later that day, on February 13, Shahbaz Sharif urged collaboration on the no-confidence vote during a meeting with PML-Q head Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi. Interestingly, Shehbaz Sharif returned to the Chaudhry brothers’ home after a 14-year absence.

Fawad Chaudhry’s Statement

According to Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Information, we have a cordial relationship with Jahangir Khan Tareen. He will back the PTI, despite the fact that PDM chairman Fazlur Rehman, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz, and President Shehbaz Sharif are all dwarfs.

Fawad Chaudhry referred to opposition leaders as political dwarfs and lambasted PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, claiming that the opposition leaders’ voices were not heard at the international level. Family members are distrustful of people who propose a no-confidence motion.

It is worth noting that the Opposition’s Assembly members played a role in electing PTI members to the Senate, with the most recent example being Senator Faisal Vawda, who is facing a lifetime disqualification case.

Earlier, a video lea**ked showing PDM politicians debating different options, including a no-confidence vote, in which PTI leaders noted the faces of those wanting to remove the government were dishevelled.

Hassan Khawar stated four days earlier that the opposition’s worried expressions were evidence of the PDM’s no-confidence motion. Opposition leaders must meet with their friends, whether or not they are government partners.

The PTI’s federal and provincial ministers are unconcerned about the end of their five-year tenure and make clear declarations. Hassan Khawar, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab, went on to say that corruption charges are contested by arguments, not conspiracies.
