Domenica was fiery, passionate, and honest from the moment we met her on Married At First Sight.
One of her biggest concerns was disclosing her previous marriage, which Jack handled admirably on their wedding day.
The 28-year-old admitted in her exclusive audition tape that she had to be honest with herself when she decided to end her first marriage.
Domenica said in her audition tape, which you can watch above, “I was in a relationship for three and a half years and then we were married for two months.”
She admitted it took her a long time to come to the decision to divorce.
“I didn’t wake up one day and say, ‘This is it, I’m out,'” she explained.
“It lingered, and then I realised, ‘I can’t spend the rest of my life with this person.'”
Domenica felt like a failure as a result of her decision, which was difficult to make.
“Calling it quits on a marriage hit me like a tonne of bricks… It was a significant occasion, to say the least “she expressed herself.
The makeup artist admitted that it was difficult for her to accept her divorce because she had a very different vision of how her life should have turned out.
“By the time I was 28, I saw myself being pregnant and buying a house,” she admitted.
The MAFS bride says she’s “always wanted” to marry and start a family, citing her parents’ 32-year marriage as an example.
Domenica, who comes from a large Italian family, also revealed that she is the first in her family to divorce.
Domenica’s divorce wasn’t the first time she went against family tradition.
“I did things a young signorina isn’t supposed to do,” she says.
“I moved out of my parents’ house before getting married, which is a huge no-no. I got some tattoos “Domenica continues.
However, appearing on MAFS is yet another major decision, though it appears that things are going well for her and fellow Italian Jack.
