Imran Riaz Khan is ordered released on bail by the LHC.

Imran Riaz Khan, an anchor, has been ordered released on bail by the Lahore High Court (LHC), which also postponed the hearing on the motion to dismiss the cases until July 19, according to ARY News on Saturday.

The journalist was ordered by the Lahore High Court (LHC) to appear before the magistrate the following business day. The judge noted that Khan’s attorney gave the court the assurance that he would not make any statements going forward that would cause trouble.

“I also assure the court that I will not deliver such statements again,” Imran Riaz Khan said.

In the Chakwal case, Attorney General Punjab begged the court to grant him bail. He continued by saying he wouldn’t be detained in any other situation.

Imran Riaz Khan’s personal surety bonds were approved for bail by the LHC after hearing the arguments.

In a statement, Azhar Siddique Advocate said, “It is not a battle against the national institutions. The issue of the judicial magistrate has also been resolved after Attock. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) declared that it would not be registering any cases.

He explained that the journalist’s actual offence was using the term “imported government.” According to Siddique, the journalist has 10 days to submit a response, and all cases will be heard together in the coming days.
