“Because all the doors are closing in on you, Amber, you have no one but me to look after you. Because I’ve observed that some people despise and bully you, I’ve decided to marry you. May Allah bless both of us. You are a blessing, but others do not recognise it. I am superior to that elderly gentleman “In a voice message translated by Gulf News, a Saudi man said.

Depp won a defamation suit against his ex-wife Heard, who accused him of domestic abuse, last week.

After weeks of tense testimony in the $100 million defamation suit, a jury in Fairfax, Virginia ruled in Depp’s favour. The jury determined that Heard’s statement about her marriage was false and intended to defame her ex-husband.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages by the court.

“The jury gave me my life back,” the 58-year-old actor said after the verdict was announced.

Amber Heard described the decision as a “setback” for women.

“The disappointment I’m experiencing today is indescribable. I’m heartbroken that the mountain of evidence was insufficient to overcome my ex-disproportionate husband’s power, influence, and sway “In a statement, she said.

“I’m even more dissatisfied with the implications of this decision for other women. It’s a stumbling block… It rebuts the notion that women’s violence should be taken seriously “she stated

Depp, who was married to Heard from 2015 to 2017, sued her for $50 million after she claimed to be a victim of domestic abuse in a newspaper article. She later sued him for defamation and filed a countersuit for $100 million.
