Several people were injured in a blast at Bolton Market in Karachi’s Kharadar neighbourhood on Monday, according to reports.
The blast was heard in far-flung areas of Karachi, according to the details, and it caused panic at the scene. When police and law enforcement arrived on the scene, they cordoned off the area and began their investigation into the incident.
The police are still investigating the cause of the explosion. Meanwhile, the injured are being transported to a nearby hospital by rescue workers. The fire department was also dispatched to the scene to put out the flames.
According to some reports, the blast targeted a police vehicle, while others claim it happened at a warehouse in Karachi’s Bolton Market’s Kharadar area. The specifics, however, have yet to be confirmed.
It’s worth noting that this is Karachi’s second explosion in four days. A previous attack on the Saddar area left one person dead and several others injured. The previous incident is also still being investigated.
