In the case of Dua Zehra, who went missing from Al Falah, police discovered footage of a girl sitting in a vehicle. Dua Zahra is believed to be the girl in the video.
The police raided a house in Sanghar as well, but were unable to locate the missing girl. The police had taken the owners of the cell phones from which the ransom calls were made into custody.
Dua Zehra, a 14-year-old girl from Al Falah’s Golden Town neighbourhood, went missing on April 16. Police filed a report and began an investigation. In this regard, SSP Zubair Sheikh of the Anti-Violent Crime Cell stated that the police were working diligently on the case.
Police raids are still taking place in Karachi and other cities in Sindh’s interior. On Wednesday, police raided a house in Sanghar but found nothing. After that, a third house was raided. Despite the fact that Dua Zehra was not found during the raid, police discovered another girl from Karachi.
She claimed, however, that she had left her home voluntarily. In response to a question, the SSP stated that Dua’s father provided the police with the phone numbers used to demand ransom. Law enforcement tracked them down, and the suspects were apprehended.
Dua Zehra, a teen girl from Karachi, has been missing for six days and has yet to be found.
“The news in the media about my daughter’s recovery from Sanghar is false. “Even the girl seen in the CCTV footage getting into a Suzuki vehicle is my neighbor’s daughter who was on her way to work when she was caught on camera,” he clarified.
He claimed that there was a plot to discredit his daughter’s case by spreading false information in the media. “But I promise you, no one will be able to dismiss my daughter’s case,” he said.
The father went on to say that the girl found during a raid in Sanghar was not his daughter. She went missing in Karachi’s Old City, and initial investigations revealed that she had left the house willingly.
Some media outlets reported earlier in the day that the girl seen in CCTV footage was Dua, who had willingly left the house. According to these reports, mobile phone records, school records, and doppelgängers of her neighbours, friends, and family members indicated that she had left her home ostensibly for a freewill marriage. The family, on the other hand, denied all of the information and called it a plot against them.
In the meantime, the kidnapping case has been reported to Zainab Alert. Since she stepped out of her house to dispose of garbage, no one has known where she is.
