Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri joins TikTok video goes viral

Qasim Suri, the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, has joined the short video platform TikTok, it was revealed on Wednesday.

On his official Twitter account, which has nearly 1,000 followers, the deputy speaker, who is in the news these days for his controversial ruling on April 3, shared a TikTok video.

Suri became a member of the platform on April 6.

Suri’s TikTok account shows that the PTI leader has only shared two videos: one of his arrival at the National Assembly on Sunday and the other of him reading the ruling in the National Assembly.

Suri can be seen meeting PTI leaders Pervez Khattak and Murad Saeed in one of the videos before chairing the crucial session.

TikTok is one of Pakistan’s most popular apps, with many celebrities using it, including top cricketers, politicians, and showbiz stars.

President Arif Alvi and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar are among the Pakistani politicians who use TikTok.
