After an incident involving a lea**ked film featuring Malik Riaz’s relatives, Pakistani actress Uzma Khan has returned to social media.
The case of Uzma Khan has been the most contentious thus far. In May of last year, a video of Uzma Khan being beaten up for reportedly having an affair with Usman Malik, who is married to a Malik Riaz relative, went popular on social media.
Usman’s wife, Amna Usman, and Malik Riaz’s daughter were seen assaulting, harassing, and threatening Uzma Khan. She then filed a police report against the women. However, after filing a Rs. 5 billion defamation lawsuit against the actress, Malik Riaz eventually abandoned the case as part of an undisclosed settlement.
After receiving widespread outrage, the Ye Jawani Phir Nahi Ani actress deactivated all of her social media accounts. Her Instagram and Twitter accounts, for example, were no longer active until recently.
Since last month, the actress has also shared two new photographs on her official Instagram account without a caption. However, in her most recent posts, the actress has disabled comments.
