Actor Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are now married.

After dating for over five years, Bollywood stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have married.

On Thursday, the wedding took place at Ranbir’s home Vastu in Pali Hill, Mumbai. Their family and close friends were present at the intimate yet opulent ceremony.

Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor, Karan Johar, Ayan Mukerji, Manish Malhotra, Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, Karisma Kapoor, and Kareena Kapoor Khan were among the celebrities who attended the wedding.

After the news broke that Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt would marry this week, there was a lot of speculation about the wedding date and location. Finally, Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Ranbir’s mother and sister, confirmed that the couple will marry on April 14.

In 2017, Ranbir and Alia began dating. During the filming of Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy drama Brahmastra, the two formed a strong bond. In 2018, the couple finally confirmed rumours about their relationship by attending Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding reception together.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have spoken about each other several times since then. Alia confessed her love for Ranbir in a recent interview, saying, “Of course, I am in a relationship and I am very happy and deeply in love with Ranbir and I believe in the relationship.” I’m currently a very ‘dil wala’ person. In that sense, I’m a bit of a romantic, the ‘pyar kiya toh darna kya’ type. He is someone I adore, admire, and feel completely at ease with. That’s why we’ve been dating for so long.”
