India has allowed the premier of Prime Minister Imran Khan to use his airspace to travel to Sri Lanka.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA), the Government of India has granted permission to use its airspace, since the Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has embarked on the visit of him to Sri Lanka.
Imran Khan will travel to Sri Lanka in his single visit on February 23.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is traveling to Sri Lanka at the invitation of his Sri Lanka Mahinda Rajapaksa counterpart.
He will be accompanied by a high-level delegation, including cabinet members and high-level officials.
During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold meetings with President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, to exchange views on regional and international key issues.
He will also lead talks at the delegation level, which cover all areas of cooperation between the two countries, including trade, investment, health, education, agriculture, science and technology, as well as defense tourism and culture.
The Prime Minister will also participate in a “Trade and Investment Conference” joints aimed at promoting trade and investment between the two countries.
An amount of MOUS will be signed to improve bilateral cooperation during the visit.
