The University of Lahore (UOL) expelled a student and a university student companion after a video of these offering and kissing in front of other students became virals on the Internet.
Recently, a video went viral on the social media in which, in the presence of other students, a student was kneeling and offering flowers to a boy in a cinema style, expressing his love for the student, then all Both embraced.
The video went viral on social media after which, the opinion signed by the Registrar of the University of Lahore published today, said the student had been expelled from the university and admission to the university has been forbidden.
The opinion stated that the two students were summoned by the Special Disciplinary Commission on March 12, 2021 at 10:30 to violate the University Code of Conduct, however, they did not appear before the Committee.
He then stated that the Special Discipline Committee decided to expel the university students for serious violation of the University’s rules and code of conduct in accordance with Article 9 of the rules of general discipline and the Code of Campus conduct.
According to the opinion, students expelled under section 16 of the rules of general discipline and the Campus Code of Conduct will not be allowed to enter the next university or any of its campuses.
