Gurmeet Choudhary, a well-known television star, made his Bollywood debut with Khamoshiyan. Following that, the actor appeared in films such as Wajah Tum Ho, Paltan, and Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana over the next few years. And now, with his fifth feature, The Wife, the actor is back. The Wife is a horror and psychological thriller directed by Sarmad Khan.

Varun (Gurmeet Choudhary) and his wife Arya are the central characters in The Wife (Sayani Datta). The characters are introduced as they move into their opulent new home. The couple begins setting up their home as soon as they move into their new apartment -Anything from kitchen items to everyday necessities is available. Varun and Arya find their wardrobe trembling on its own the first day they move into their apartment. As a result, a slew of suspicious activity emerge.

Varun opens the closet to see what’s inside, and he and his wife are taken aback when they see a bird flying out of their house. As the days pass, Arya begins to find odd occurrences in the home, ranging from a cup disappearing on its own to the cabinets in their kitchen to the door to their house opening on their own.

She tells her friend about the strange things that are going on in the kitchen, and then she tells Varun about it.

Varun refuses to believe Arya’s claim that there is a supernatural being within their home. Arya holds a ritual with the aid of a friend to exorcise the ghost that she believes is present in their home.
