Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are losing influence in the United Kingdom, with more and more people asking that they relinquish their royal titles forever.
According to a recent Deltapoll survey, British citizens want the Sussexes to relinquish their names.
The majority of people voted in favour of stripping Harry and Meghan of their names.
According to the poll, more than two-thirds of respondents (58%) think the pair should lose their names, while only 23% believe they should retain them.
Although 31% of those polling believe the couple’s actions have no effect on the monarchy’s reputation, 9% believe they genuinely strengthened it.
As many as two-thirds of baby boomers agreed that Harry and Meghan had tarnished the royal family’s image.
Just three weeks after Meghan and Harry’s explosive tell-all with Oprah Winfrey aired, the survey gathered data from 1,590 adults of various ages between March 31 and April 1.
