Shaniera Akram, who has always been at the forefront of social work and has raised her voice on social issues, came forward to support the students of a private university in Lahore who were proposing marriage to a boy.
In a message posted on the microblogging site Twitter, Shanira wrote: “We recently celebrated International Women’s Day and now we are supporting a prestigious university where a young girl was ousted for being confident and empowered. is going.’
We just celebrated International women’s day and here we are with a top University expelling a young woman for having the confidence and empowerment to ask a man to marry her amongst the security of her peers. What kind of example are we setting here ? #CantExpelLove

“The girl’s only mistake is that she offered her marriage to the boy in front of everyone, expressing her love,” Shanira wrote in her tweet.
The former cricketer’s wife wrote in a questioning manner, “What kind of example are we setting here?”
Shanera also used the hashtag Can’tExpelLove in her tweet, which means “You can’t evict love.”
