The Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was presented with a compilation report today of each province. As per details, Federal Institutes and Ministers resolved a total of 3,64000 complaints which was 89% of the total received, the report read. On the other hand, Provincial institutes of Sindh have only been able to resolve 30% of the complaints which made their way to them through the application. Pending complaints on the app from the entire country thus far stand at 37,574, the report read further.
Prime Minister Imran Khan launched ‘Pakistan Citizen Portal’ On October 28, aimed to stay connected with people and to address their problems. Pakistan Citizens’ Portal” is a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government’s innovative programme through which at least 382,000 complaints relating to government departments could be registered at the same time.
People who wanted lodge their complaints, they have to download the official app of “Pakistan Citizens’ Portal” from Google play store on android phones. The registration process includes the provision of very basic information i.e. name, CNIC number, date of birth, and place of residence etc. Once get registered, a person would then be able to lodge complaints which would automatically be directed towards the heads of relevant government departments.
