Qandeel’s father stated in his affidavit that the case of Qandeel’s murder was recorded on July 16, 2016, while the law on honor was amended on October 22, 2016.
The modification of the law of honor 311 was made later. Therefore, the new law is not applicable to this case. The accused must be acquitted in accordance with article 345 of the criminal procedure. The model court judge summoned prosecutors and lawyers to testify about the affidavit presented by Qandeel’s father for forgiving his two sons involved in the Qandeel murder case.
