Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who stood down as senior members of the British royal family in order to become financially independent, may confront new problems as a result of lucrative partnerships with US streaming behemoths.
According to the expert, the United States is increasing pressure on the Duke and Duchess of Susse**x over their work ethics because Spotify and Netflix will soon be merged. “wondering where the money has gone”.
It’s been over a year since the Duke and Duchess of Susse**x struck a contract with Netflix for up to $150 million. The pair, however, has only announced two series for the streaming service and has yet to produce any material.
They also landed a multi-million dollar agreement with Spotify despite having only produced one podcast so far. They are being pressed to “produce the goods.”
Royal editor Russell Myers told Australia’s Today programme that bosses from both Spotify and Netflix would soon be “wondering where their hard-earned dollars are going exactly”.
Hosts of the programme asked: “Harry and Meghan are still financially on their own two feet, we believe. But pressure is mounting on them to deliver on this deals. Big money is at stake.”
