A year after splitting from the Windsors, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wax figures at Madame Tussauds have been relocated away from the royal family and into the Hollywood section of the museum.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex resigned from their positions as senior members of the royal family in order to pursue professional careers across the Atlantic and become “financially independent.” Since then, they’ve signed lucrative deals to deliver and produce content for Netflix, Spotify, and Apple.
The couple’s waxwork models have been relocated from their location in the royal section of Madame Tussauds in London to join other celebrities, the museum announced on Thursday.
“Harry and Meghan have moved zones – Madame Tussauds London has moved its figures of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to their brand new Awards Party zone to reflect their move from Frogmore to Hollywood,”
In a tweet, Madame Tussauds referred to the couple’s old British residence, Frogmore Cottage.
