Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers on Tuesday (June 11) have staged protest on Lahore’s Mall Road against the arrest of Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
According to details, heavy contingent of security personnel arrived at the scene to disperse the protesters who were chanting slogans against the incumbent government and anti-corruption watchdog. The PML-N workers demanded the authorities to withdraw Hamza’s arrest, adding that fake cases were filed against their leader.
Hamza Shehbaz Taken Into NAB’s Custody
Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz was taken into custody by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday (June 11) after the Lahore High Court (LHC) rejected his interim bail in the Ramzan Sugar Mills case and assets beyond means sources of income cases.
