The Pakistan Navy has recovered narcotics worth Rs300 million during a raid at seaways near Mubarak Village, the navy’s spokesperson said. About 675 of hashish and four kg heroin were recovered during an intelligence tip-off regarding the transportation of the huge cache of the narcotics via sea on Friday (July 12).

“The operation was executed with the cooperation of Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), constant surveillance and obtaining precise intelligence,” the spokesperson said. The recovered drugs were handed over to ANF for further investigation.

He spokesman also said that the operation was testament to the ability and capability of Pakistan Navy and its resolve to keep the seaways of Pakistan clean of any criminal activity or misadventure. In conclusion he added that Pakistan Navy was ready, willing and able to carry on performing their duties with vigilance and integrity.
