Meghan Markle will be able to attend Prince Philip’s funeral virtually, as part of the royal family’s private plans for those who are unable to attend.
According to The Sun, all royals who will be unable to attend the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral in person will be able to watch a special live stream of the event.
Mourners will be given log-in information for this stream for this reason. The broadcast would provide the same video as the BBC, but without the live commentary.
Meghan, who had been warned not to go to the UK due to her pregnancy, will now be able to pay her respects to the Duke of Edinburgh.
Meanwhile, Harry has been quarantined since his arrival in the UK and has been told by Queen Elizabeth to walk apart from Prince William behind Philip’s coffin.
Her Majesty is said to have insisted on nothing being done.
“detract from what the day is about, commemorating the extraordinary life of her husband.”
