Actress Kubra Khan declared she would sue wanted military officer Major (retd), Adil Raja, for allegedly making false accusations against her.
In a statement released on Monday, she threatened legal action against him if he did not retract his claims and did not offer an apology to her within three days.
Adil Raja was admonished by Kubra Khan to produce evidence to support his claims or else be ready to face legal action.
Adil Raja alleged that some Pakistani actresses and models were conspiring to entrap politicians alongside General (ret.) Bajwa and former ISI chief Faiz Hameed.
He used the initials of the actresses rather than their full names, but it was clear to netizens who he was alluding to.
A number of social media users were seen sharing a collage of images featuring Mehwish Hayat, Mahira Khan, Kubra Khan, and Sajal Aly shortly after his vlog went viral online.
“It is very sad that our country is becoming morally debased and ugly; character assassination is the worst form of humanity and sin,” Sajal Aly tweeted in the midst of the ongoing controversy.
