Despite threats of legal action, a woman who recorded p*ornographic material inside a hotel insists she did nothing wrong.
23-year-old Lacey Amour and 27 other guests checked into a Travelodge in Newcastle’s Cobalt Business Park, where she immediately started secretly filming X-rated content for her social media channel.
According to the BBC, Ms. Amour maintains that she has not broken any laws, despite the hotel chain having said earlier this week that it will be investigating any potential “breach” of its terms and conditions.
She spoke up about the issue, stating that “[adul*t content creation] is one of the oldest industries to exist and we face injustice and discrimination that other industries don’t.”
We are all experts in our fields.
Amour claimed that none of the rooms they filmed in were harmed and that she and her teammate were “just trying to do our jobs.”
Online users are currently discussing a video that appears to show many people performing inside the hotel.
After being ejected from a nearby estate, its owner installed a pool and hot tub, the crew is thought to have been filming for OnlyFans.
The hotel’s management claimed that X-rated filming occurred in several of the building’s public areas, including the elevators and hallways, where guests’ families would pass while se*xy models posed for shocking photographs.
The chain added that the group did not request permission from Travelodge management to create the lewd content before checking into the hotel.
“We have been made aware of an allegation that filming may have occurred in one of our hotels without our authorization and contrary to the terms of our booking conditions,” a Travelodge spokesperson said.
“This reservation was made online, just like the millions of other bookings made through our website, so we were unaware of it.
We are investigating this incident, and if we determine that someone has violated our terms and conditions, we will not hesitate to cancel any pending reservations and pursue legal action.
According to the terms and conditions on the Travelodge website, visitors may be asked to leave if any rules are broken.
If a person or group “conducts commercial activities or activity that intends to gain profit without written approval,” it continues, “we reserve the right to cancel a booking.”
