At least ten people were killed while eight sustained injuries in an armed clash between two groups in Multan’s Jalalpur district on Wednesday ( June 5). Police said the injured and the deceased have been shifted to district headquarters hospital for medical attention.
After the incident, Inspector General (IG) of Police, Punjab Capt. (retd) Arif Nawaz Khan while taking notice of the Jalalpur Pirwala incident on has suspended DSP while sought a report from CPO Multan, SSP operations and SP Saddar, Dunya News reported.
IG Punjab Capt. (retd) Arif Nawaz Khan conducted an emergency video link conference which was also participated by RPO Mulatan, CPO Multan and other senior police officials. He expressed concern over the killing of 10 people in an armed clash between two rival groups in Jalalpur Pirwala and asked from RPO Multan about the measures taken against the accused involved in the incident.
