According to a NAB spokesperson, Farah Khan’s husband served as chairman of the district council from 1997 to 1999, and the graft-busting agency reserves the right to investigate former public officials or their family members.

According to the National Accountability Bureau, Farah Khan’s account had a huge turnover of Rs847 million in the last three years, which did not match her stated account profile. These credits were received in her personal account and withdrawn within a short period of time after credit.

The NAB is an independent body, and the investigation into Farah Khan is being conducted in accordance with the law and the constitution, according to the spokesperson.

When asked about the corruption allegations against Farah Khan, former Prime Minister Imran Khan said, “My spouse is a housewife, they found nothing against her, so they booked her friend in case.”

“The real estate business has generated a lot of money over the last three years,” Imran Khan said. For the past 20 years, Farah Khan has worked in the real estate industry.”

The PTI chairman claimed that the cases were brought against him in order to harm him, and he reiterated that Farah is innocent.

“I’m wondering if the NAB can even build a case against Farah Khan?” Imran Khan enquired.
