Hollywood A-listers are protesting in support of Palestine and speaking out against Israel’s violent attacks and forcible eviction of Palestinian families from the annexed East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Sheikh Jarrah.
Fashion stars Gigi and Bella Hadid, who have Palestinian origins, have been using their voice to speak out against Israeli security forces’ persecution of unarmed civilians, while also encouraging the rest of the world not to be complicit as tensions rise in the region.
Other celebrities who have lent their support to the Palestinian cause include British singer Dua Lipa, Academy Award-nominated actor Riz Ahmed, Oscar nominee Viola Davis, supermodel Halima Aden, Marvel star Mark Ruffalo, Canadian rapper The Weeknd, and several others.
