Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), which is struggling to proceed its rule in Punjab for next 5 years, has decided to approach rival parties to restrain Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf from forming its provincial government.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, the PML-N leader Hamza Shehbaz said that his celebration emerged as the largest party in Punjab by bagging 129 seats. He added that 27 impartial candidates can also be recruited for forming the provincial government.

The son of former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif said that they will also talk to Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), besides vowing to rule Punjab.

He recalled that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif gave chance to the PTI for making government in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding, “I want to inform all Constitutional institutions that the government in Punjab will be made by PML-N”.

He warned of sturdy response if the PML is barred from making the federal government. Hamza alleged their mandate was stolen by pre-poll rigging, including that they are going to expose the truth.

Speaking about Imran Khan’s victory speech, he mentioned that the PTI chief should present efficiency after assuming the ability.

In line with the statistics launched by the Election Fee of Pakistan, the results for as many as 294 seats of the provincial meeting are out with Pakistan Muslim league Nawaz leading the race by securing  127 seats.

The second party in line is Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf which has secured 122 seats of the provincial assembly.

The impartial candidates fall third in the race who have gained 29 seats becoming the swing issue within the elections.

Pakistan Muslim League has defeated the opponents on 7 seats of the competition for the provincial assembly with Pakistan Peoples Party garnering 6 seats.

Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), Pakistan Muslim League-Functional, Pakistan Awami Raj secured single seat of the assembly that represents over 110 million.
