Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has decided to operate against all those individuals who do not pay their taxes while doing small-scale businesses. FBR has set eyes on all milk shops, bakeries and restaurants who have not been paying their taxes to the government.

In its first phase, Broadening of Tax Base (BTB) Zone has sent notices to 214 non-taxpayers. On the other hand, Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has started taking steps to make flight attendants a part of the tax system. As per details, the tax watchdog has abolished the cash payment on the domestic slip allowance of the air cabin crew.

The allowance will now be added to the salaries of flight attendants, as per FBR. Earlier, FBR had decided to bring doctors, surgeons, private schools and commercial and industrial users of K-Electric and SSGC under the tax net.
