According to sources, the government has estimated to be Rs 400 to Rs 500 billion tax revenues from the Amnesty Scheme. New Amnesty Scheme will be announced April 15. Tax Amnesty Scheme will be announced by the Ordinance. Amnesty Scheme will also help to achieve FBR goals. The FBR faces a loss of 350 to 400 billion tax shortfall in the current financial year.
According to the details, black color of 2500 billion rupees was white in the former government. Which collected 125 billion rupees to the national treasury. Assets in Amnesty Scheme can be displayed. Government officials and their family schemes will not be able to qualify. People involved in criminal nature cases will not be able to benefit from the scheme.
The income tax return file in the scheme will be considered as an essential condition. The government also made plans for tough action against those who did not benefit from the Tax Amnesty Scheme. Unidentified property will be seized and auction can be processed.
