Yasir Shah, a Pakistani Test cricketer, has been charged with harassing a 14-year-old girl and aiding and abetting the victim’s rape.
A woman’s allegation resulted in the filing of a First Information Report (FIR) at Shalimar police station.
According to the FIR, Shah’s companion, Farhan, reportedly raped and recorded the girl while holding a pistol to her head. Both also threatened her with leaking the video and killing her.
According to the FIR, the bowler further threatened the victim with using his power to embroil her in a case if she sought to file a complaint about the incident.
When the complainant contacted the police about the event, the national cricket team promised to pay her expenses and provide her with an apartment, according to the complaint.
