Meghan Markle did not have many admirers on the comedy show ‘Have You Been Paying Attention?’ on Monday, when she was cruelly insulted.
After quizmaster Tom Gleisner asked the panel to name the first TV programme Meghan appeared on following her tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey, comedians Sam Pang and Tim McDonald insulted the Duchess of Sussex.
Tim was the first to press his doorbell, and his response was, ‘Was it… Better Homewreckers and Gardens?’ This was a reference to the Australian television programme Better Homes and Gardens.
Sam was the next to ring his buzzer, and he responded with a witty response: ‘Family Feud.’
The comedians burst out laughing once again before Tom revealed that Meghan had indeed been on a benefit show called Vax Live.
It comes after Nine’s Today programme anchor Karl Stefanovic delivered an unkind judgement on Prince Harry’s recent Armchair Expert podcast interview, in which he accused his father, Prince Charles, of exposing him to ‘genetic anguish.’
Stefanovic couldn’t stop himself from taking another swipe as the show played a collection of images from Harry’s twenties, when he was renowned for his partying and rebellious temperament, in contrast to his strait-laced older brother, Prince William.
Later in the show, Stefanovic chastised Prince Harry again, telling him that he should follow in the footsteps of his grandmother, the Queen, by ‘just getting on with it.’
