Priyanka Chopra Jonas, a Bollywood and Hollywood actress, has shared her condolences following the death of the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, the Queen’s husband.
“So sad to hear the news today. #RestInPeace Prince Philip,” Priyanka Chopra wrote in a message on the social networking site, Twitter.
The Bollywood star also expressed her condolences to the royal family following Prince Philip’s passing.
The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, died at the age of 99. Prince Philip had been sick for some time, according to sources from Buckingham Palace. Owing to his advanced age, the Prince withdrew from royal duties in 2017.
Following Prince Philip’s death, flags were raised at significant British buildings, and condolence messages from all around the world started to pour in.
The Queen declared the death of her husband, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, in a statement released by Buckingham Palace.
On February 16, Prince Philip had a heart attack and was admitted to King Edward VII’s Hospital in London.
