Humayun Saeed wishes to highlight the struggles of female Pakistani doctors.

Humayun Saeed, an actor, has spoken out against the predicament of female physicians who do not return to their professional duties after marrying.

The Mere Paas Tum Ho actress took to Twitter to explain how there is a need to expose the issue in order to have more ladies join in the labour force, as well as the possibility of a project addressing this topic.

“Disappointed to find out that only 1 out of 4 female doctors practice after graduation in Pakistan because of family pressure. Thinking of a new project, maybe to highlight this issue. Let’s encourage women to pursue their dreams. #DoctorBahu,”

he wrote.

In terms of employment, Saeed is the first Pakistani actor to be cast in a Netflix original. He’s been cast as Diana’s love interest in the forthcoming season of the award-winning drama.
